…the people who run a website that allows people to send and distribute large files are being indicted because people have used their product to share illegally copied copyrighted material…
…but, you know, the people who manufacture guns which are then used by people to illegally kill and maim people, they’re ok. Nobody’s prosecuting them. Right? Because it’s not like the file sharing website has many purposes other than piracy…perfectly legitimate and legal purposes…while guns are solely designed for killing people. Oh, wait, no, that’s exactly how it is.
Good to know that the world has its priorities right.
I bet the tobacco companies are also glad that their product only kills people and doesn’t facilitate the infringement of copyright law right about now!
