I'm the managing editor of Orang Utan Comics, group editor of AAM/Markosia, writer of Alpha Gods, Hypergirl and Hero: 9-5, and also do freelance inking and lettering work for the likes of AAM/Markosia, Slave Labour, Top Shelf, Image, Marvel/Panini and I letter the official Doctor Who graphic novels for BBC Books.

I guess I should thank Rick Remender, really… …I need to do my July preorder soon and with both Captain Marvel and X-Treme X-Men out and looking really damn amazing, I need to cut two books from my regular list… …and this made it so much easier. So, so much easier. I’m sorry, but Captain Britain has not only saved the world multiple times…has not only saved the universe multiple times…but he has saved the omniverse many times over. And he’s just going to sit there and let Hank McCoy lecture him on how he’s such a screw up and this is why nobody ever asks him to take part in the “big events”…? No. Fuck. That. I’m out. And don’t get me started on Thor insisting that a man with a drinking problem has a drink… And, yes, sure, this might just be part of an arc that Remender has planned (and because I pre-order my books I’ll still be getting another few issues of this)…but I’m not going to stick around to moan about it when there are other books out there I’d rather read. So, Secret Avengers and Uncanny X-Force are off my list, and Captain Marvel and X-Treme X-Men will take their place.
