I'm a writer and artist, working mainly in comic books, and living in the South East of England (although I'm technically half Scottish and half English).

I'm the managing editor of Orang Utan Comics, group editor of AAM/Markosia, writer of Alpha Gods, Hypergirl and Hero: 9-5, and also do freelance inking and lettering work for the likes of AAM/Markosia, Slave Labour, Top Shelf, Image, Marvel/Panini and I letter the official Doctor Who graphic novels for BBC Books.

So far in my genderbending/crossplay learning experience I have discovered the lot of people don’t like the female characters costumes or being treated like a “sexy” girl in costume, whether it’s an actual female character or a genderbend. This is why they crossplay. Often they feel like they aren’t being seen as the character, just a sexual fantasy. This is interesting…and a slightly depressing view of how we as a culture treat women…

Guys, female cosplayers are not there to satisfy and fuel your sexual fantasies.
