I'm a writer and artist, working mainly in comic books, and living in the South East of England (although I'm technically half Scottish and half English).

I'm the managing editor of Orang Utan Comics, group editor of AAM/Markosia, writer of Alpha Gods, Hypergirl and Hero: 9-5, and also do freelance inking and lettering work for the likes of AAM/Markosia, Slave Labour, Top Shelf, Image, Marvel/Panini and I letter the official Doctor Who graphic novels for BBC Books.

Not sure if joking or serious about it being Ewoks.

these are most definitely wookiees

Well, as Lucas himself said, “Ewok is just Wookie spelled sideways.”

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (Spaceman Vs. Dinosaur)

The romantic first meeting between a lonely spaceman and a beautiful dinosaur. Oh how they looked back on this in later years and laughed (Felt pen on paper).

So, I said I’d be doing more drawings specifically to sell as prints. Here’s the first one. Go on, click here and get yourself one, you know it’d look great on the living room wall.

The original is also for sale, if anyone’s interested. Let’s say… £30? Email me at davidjlwynne AT gmail DOT com if you’re interested, or if you prefer you can contact me on here or via twitter.

Reblogging this because David Wynne is awesome and more people should appreciate his art.

Hmmm…David Wynne, you say? Must check out his art…

As I said on Twitter, this was obviously from the episode where Alan played “Chief Inspector Spacetime” and I was his sidekick “The Detective”.
I expect it was the one where we took Inspector Spacetime’s powers away from him, but when the Constable proved he’d been framed, we gave them back again.

Just one of those moments where Mr Gaiman once again proves to us all that he is, indeed, a perfect human being…
