I don’t know about anyone else but I think ‘The Night of the Doctor’ was a far better regeneration story than ‘The End of Time’.
Let’s face it, if Eleven slips on a banana peel and hits his head it’ll still be a better regeneration story than The End of Time!
That day of the doctor trailer is awesome and everything, like seriously awesome….but they put eight pretty far to the side in the background. It’s like in name of the doctor when he just walks past briefly. It’s irritating that he doesn’t get as much focus as the other doctors.
I won’t blame Moffat though as I bet he had little to do with that trailer and he’s named eight stories as his favourite audios. It just seems to be an oversight people need to correct.
You do know that Eight’s voice is in the trailer, right?
He does the echoes for Matt’s voiceover.
People weren’t sure if it was him or Peter Davidson at first but then people linked to this:
(Which is genuine, by the way, I screen capped it from his twitter, you’ll have to look back through my archive to find the link).
So while his face is only briefly in it (which is more than Two, Six and Seven get), his voice is actually in there…like it was in The Doctor’s Wife.
Which gives me more hope that maybe…just maybe…McGann is telling a big fib about not being in the 50th…
