It wasn’t even that he said he wasn’t asexual, it was that he (a) completely got wrong what asexuality actually is, and (b) said asexuality was boring. So yeah, I’m kind of pissed off about it.
Well, I pretty much already answered this point here, although that was specifically dealing with the “boring” part. As for getting wrong what asexuality is, I haven’t read the full article, but assuming that all he says about asexuality is in the quote in the linked post then I really don’t see him offering any kind of definition of asexuality other than it NOT being voluntary abstinence from sex. Which is correct. It’s not that.
