HAHA what?! You sir are mental, you’ve seen the almost original GnR line up, this alone means you have 100000000000x more cool points than I could ever wish to have!

Haha, nooo…all that makes me is old! :P

Well he sounded fucking terrible and squawky when I saw them and Chinese Democracy came out a couple of years after that so fingers crossed even if it’s shit live he can pull it together for some recording!

Well, I’m now watching the whole show from the beginning and he starts off pretty well, so I’m guessing he simply can’t keep it up for two and half hours (“That’s what she said!”) anymore…which isn’t surprising, really. So hopefully we’ll get a new Gn’R album sometime soon…I hope we don’t have to wait fifteen years this time…although it’s already been four years since Chinese Democracy.

Haha when I saw Axl and friends in 2006 Izzy came on for a couple of songs. Unfortunately I didn’t get Slash/Steven/Duff too… So you win.

Ah, I never saw Steven, sadly…I got to see them play with Izzy at the Milton Keynes Bowl back in…um…1992…I think…because, if memory serves me correctly, Gilby was ill and so Izzy came back and played a couple of dates with them. The year before I saw them at Wembley Stadium with Gilby.

That said, Matt is arguably a far better drummer anyway…

I’m currently watching their Rock In Rio show from last year and wondering what the hell is going on with Axl’s voice?! Has he finally blown his throat out for good or is there a reason why it’s so awful? I am still (perhaps foolishly) hoping for another album from him…and I’ll be honestly gutted if his voice has gone for good…
