She’s Always A Woman
One of my favourite songs… It might surprise some of you to know that I love Billy Joel’s music. I recorded this a while ago…thought I’d share it.

My Angel by Ian Sharman
Here’s a song I wrote a while back for an ex of mine. I still rather like it though, so I’m sharing it with you all.

Dust N’ Bones
A wild cover version appeared! This was the first thing I recorded when I got my studio mic here. Everything on it, other than the drums, is me.

And…let’s counter all that with some secular shit I recorded after I left the church!
Waters Above
Now, here’s one I don’t think I’ve posted on here, but I’m over being embarrassed about having been in a Christian rock band now, so you can get to hear this…because musically speaking this is one of the best things I’ve ever recorded. I wrote it, the lyrics are based on a Psalm, but don’t ask me which one now, I haven’t a clue. Again, that’s me singing, with the band behind me (my sister’s actually playing bass on this).
This was actually the first piece of mine to ever be played on the radio…
Yeah…what I said above.
Don’t worry…I’m done subjecting you all to this.
Oh, point of interest, the bass player on this and the last one is my sister.

My Heart Bleeds
A song I wrote and recorded during my days in a Christian band, that’s me singing, music by the band.

Because you’re all coming with me on this trip down memory lane back to my music career…
Blarg…I’ll probably regret uploading this but…yeah…all this talk about bass playing…I wanted to share some of my bass playing with you. And, well, as I did all my bass playing in a Christian band…this is what you get. I think my opinions on the church and Christianity are fairly well documented on here that you’re not going to judge me too harshly for posting this or mistakenly think that I’m in any way proselytising! Anyway, not only is this me playing bass, but I actually wrote this song…heh…
“The majority of people have a basic desire to be honest - and I mean actually honest, rather than some limited definition based strictly on the law. People will go to reasonable lengths to be honest. It makes us feel good about ourselves, and it confers a certain immunity from legal problems.
“But then you fuck us. First you fuck us with exorbitant pricing. Then you fuck us with inconvenience by not making your content universally available when we want it. Then you fuck us by treating every paying customer like a criminal.”
