I thought the mention of me helping to ‘ignite’ your passion for comic books was so very kind and thank you very much! I am glad I took the time to watch it & I thought what you said was very sweet! I feel bad that since I deleted Lemons and made Coffee I don’t post about comics as much (more about my personal life) but that was healthy for me and it was nice to know I influenced you!
I think that is kind of you to say even though it isn’t true- I don’t think me talking about LOL SCHOOL IS COOL is interesting to anyone but me!
I’m a writer…I find PEOPLE interesting! And I’m fascinated by your enthusiasm for school because I thoroughly hated every minute of it and couldn’t wait to get out. I think education is HUGELY important, and I have a passion for learning…but school itself? That was hell for me.

Oh, you did, you really did…I have the complete run of Steph’s Batgirl, and I credit that entirely to your infectious enthusiasm for Steph! Heck, I even ended up having a chat with Dustin Nguyen at SDCC, and he signed one of my Batgirl books and drew me a sketch of Steph…and, again, that never would have happened if you hadn’t raved so much about the book (I also got Phil Noto to sign my copy of #1, but didn’t talk to him much because he was swamped with sketch commissions and so a little grumpy at the time). But, yeah, your overall enthusiasm for the medium of comics really inspired me, because the negativity of the fandom as a whole can be a little discouraging at times.
Don’t feel bad that your blog focuses on different stuff now, that’s just life, and it’s still just as interesting as it ever was :)
