Yes, I am aware of this, however, if you’re competing in the Olympic games I would assume you would want to be able to focus on that 100%. For some women, I’m sure, it might not be much of a distraction at all, but others suffer from bad cramps, etc. I simple saying that, given the choice, I’m sure most women would rather not compete in the most important event of their sporting careers while on their period, if there’s a way to avoid it.
