Response to Liam Fox’s comments on EU nationals – Andy Burnham MP
Andy Burnham MP, Labour’s Shadow Home Secretary, responding to Liam Fox’s comments on EU nationals, said:
"As the week in Birmingham wears on, the tone of the Conservative Party conference is becoming increasingly xenophobic.
“These comments from Liam Fox reveal just what little regard the
Government has for people who have made their lives here and are contributing
to public services and our economy.
"Liam Fox should withdraw the comments and assure people that they are
welcome, valued and have the right to stay.”
